Celebrating 20 years: Inside DRK LBL

, by van nam, 1 min reading time

In our series celebrating 20 years of our customers, we recently visited the team at  DRK LBL, a decoration powerhouse located in Queensland, Australia. Jodi and her team have been with us for the last 17 years. What began as a small operation screenprinting for friends in 2006, transformed into a traditional print shop and has now evolved into a full service strategic business.

At the heart of DRK LBL is the belief that decorated apparel is more than just clothing; it's a powerful tool for connection and identity. They help their customers think through why they're making apparel, not just what they're printing. They see themselves as strategic partners, not just decorators. This approach results in more thoughtful, wearable, and impactful final products.

We love how the DRK LBL team is motivated by seeing their customer’s visions come to life. They're proud of their team of 26 - a group of passionate individuals who live and breathe branded apparel. Jodi winning the 1st ever global women in screenprinting award by Screenprint Mag was a proud moment for her and the team.

They’ve been big supporters of AS Colour for over 17 years, and our partnership is built on consistency and quality. ‘AS Colour is the gold standard. The consistency in sizing and fabrication is unmatched. You get clean, even prints and garments that people actually reach for again and again.”

The team at DRK LBL is excited about the future, especially the advancements in digital and hybrid printing. "We’re not just printing tees; we’re building ecosystems," says Jodi. "Seeing branded apparel finally being treated as a serious part of a brand’s identity, not an afterthought." It's a vision that aligns perfectly with our own, and we couldn't be prouder to have them on this journey with us.

Our 17 year relationship with Jodi and the team at DRK LBL represents everything we value about our decorator community: quality, consistency & passion.
